Create Trench from Geometry Workflow

Select the Create Trench from Geometry tool

Activate the Plan View

Select Geometry, which the trench should follow (horizontal elements, profiles are ignored)

Select a Trench Feature Definition (type of Trench to create)

Optionally: fill Name Prefix and Item Type data (in case there is an associated Item Type)
  • Select a Rail Centerline for Profile Offset (trench elevation)
  • Select an Elevation value (relative selected centerline)
Or
  • Reset to switch to Absolute Elevation Mode
  • Select an Elevation (Absolute value - Z-coordinate)

Trench will be created
